There's a particular kind of freedom you only find on two wheels — just you, your bike, and the road ahead. Total Adventour was born from one simple wish: to share that feeling with fellow riders from every corner of the world.
Total AdvenTour is Mongolia's first official Yamaha motorcycle tour operator, and the first company in Mongolia to run adventure tours on the Yamaha Ténéré 700. We started in 2023 with the Yamaha Ténéré 700, and in 2025 we expanded our fleet with Yamaha Serow XT250 - giving every rider, from seasoned adventurers to newer explorers, a bike matched to their journey. Together, our two-bike lineup lets us guide riders from around the world across Mongolia's open steppes, mountain passes, forests, river valleys, sand dunes, and the endless Gobi Desert.
We are a fully licensed, all-inclusive motorcycle touring company: the bike, the fuel, the meals, the mechanic, the support vehicle, and full support team are all part of the journey.
But more than that, we are Mongolians sharing our own homeland — its terrain, its culture, and its nomadic way of life.
Total AdvenTour was founded in 2023 as Mongolia's first official Yamaha motorcycle tour company. Our roots go back further than that. We have operated as Mongolia's official Yamaha dealer since 2012, motorcycles have been our business, our craft, and our obsession for over a decade before we ever led a single tour.
We are locals. We were born on this land, we grew up riding across it, and we built this company because we genuinely believe Mongolia is one of the best adventure motorcycling destinations on Earth — and it was time the world could experience it properly, with a team who knows the terrain, the culture.
Our mission is simple: give riders an unforgettable, worry-free adventure through Mongolia's wilderness, while supporting the nomadic communities who call that wilderness home.
For us, choosing where our guests stay is an important part of the journey.
We handpick the accommodations along our routes, and whenever we can, we choose places that are owned and run by local nomadic families. Many of these families are continuing a way of life that has been passed down through generations, living in gers (yurts), and herding their livestock.
We want our guests to experience this side of Mongolia too. Not just riding through the landscape, but staying with local families, sharing a meal, having a conversation, and seeing how people actually live here.
Mongolia's nomadic culture is something very special, and we want to do our small part to help keep it alive. If we can support the families who are carrying this tradition forward while giving our riders a genuine experience, then that's a win for everyone. It's one of the reasons we love what we do, our guests get to experience the real Mongolia, and the people who make that experience possible get something back too.
Mongolia's nomadic culture is still very much alive, but keeping this way of life going takes effort and opportunity. We believe that if tourism can support these families and encourage them to continue their traditions, then that's something worth being part of.
This isn't a side detail of our tours, it's central to who we are. We want every rider to leave Mongolia having experienced something real: real hospitality, real homes, real people living a lifestyle that has been passed down for centuries.
In choosing us, you're choosing tourism that supports the nomadic families who make this country what it is.
One of our signature experiences is our premium wild outdoor camping service — a chance to experience true Mongolian wilderness the way it was meant to be experienced. Picture this: your riding day ends, the bikes go quiet, and camp comes alive. A bonfire crackles under a sky so clear and so vast that the stars feel closer than you've ever seen them. This is wild outdoor camping in Mongolia, one of the last places on Earth where the night sky still looks the way it did a thousand years ago. And you don't need to bring a single piece of gear. We provide everything: camping tent, air mattress, sleeping bags, camping lights, warm blankets, and all the essentials for a comfortable night in the wild.
The bikes get you there, but the people are what stay with you.
This is the land of Genghis Khan, where the story of the Mongol Empire began and where nomadic life has shaped the country for centuries. As you travel across the steppe, you'll pass through places that carry stories from long before our time. Ancient settlements, historic valleys, old routes and sacred places are all part of the landscape. We don't want you to simply ride past them.
Along our tours, we make time to experience Mongolia beyond the motorcycle. You'll meet local families, visit their homes, spend time in traditional gers, taste Mongolian food, and hear stories about their lives and traditions. You'll have the opportunity to see how nomadic families live today and how many of these traditions continue to be passed from one generation to the next.
We also share the stories behind the places we visit, because knowing a little about Mongolia's history can completely change the way you see the land around you. And sometimes, it's the simplest moments that stay with you. Sharing tea with a local family. Listening to stories. Standing somewhere that people have travelled through for hundreds or even thousands of years.
That's what we hope to bring to our tours. Come for the riding, but take the time to experience the country you're riding through. Learn a little of its history, meet its people, and get a glimpse into a culture that is still part of everyday life.
Because Mongolia isn't just somewhere you ride through. It's somewhere you get to know.
