Orkhon Valley is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, covers 121,967 ha of grassland with a spectacular waterfall and canyon. The valley was a home of nomadic empires occupied throughout the Prehistoric and Bronze ages, served as a crossroads of civilizations, linking East and West across the vast Eurasian landmass.

DAY 1 | Our team will pick you up from the Chinggis Khaan International Airport and escort you to your hotel. We will have a brief orientation and safety instructions at our Moto Workshop, where you will have a test drive and choose your riding gears. In the evening, welcome dinner will be hosted. |
DAY 2 | BAGA GAZRIIN CHULUU - 266 KM It’s our first day of ride, today the adventure begins! So, hop on and thumb the starter… Our journey begins to Baga Gazriin Chuluu, we’ll tackle 266 km of fast flowing gravel tracks. You can speed up and enjoy the vastness of the Gobi desert road. Baga Gazriin Chuluu is located in the province of Dundgobi. It is surrounded by astonishing granitic formations. You can wonder around the rock formations and observe the remarkable shapes and figures. Dundgobi is best known as home of the folk songs. You will have an opportunity to experience the performance of traditional long song singers sing along with horse head fiddle (musical instrument Morin Khuur) players just for you. We will spend our first camping night and enjoy a bonfire together. |
DAY 3 | KARAKORUM - 322 KM We’ll hit the road early to Karakorum, a 322 km ride. You will be amazed by the change of scenery, as the track alternates from desert to forests and vast plains. Along the way, we will also pass by a lake with swans and bird. We will ride on the lake shore and have a quick coffee break. Make sure your camera is fully charged: today, you’ll want to stop around take some photos. The ride continues to Karakorum, we will arrive in the evening. Karakorum is an ancient capital of the Mongol Empire founded in 1235 by Ogödei, Genghis Khan's son. We will explore the area in the next morning before we depart and visit the Erdene Zuu monastery, the earliest surviving Buddhist monastery in Mongolia. |
DAY 4 | ORKHON VALLEY & TSENHER HOT SPRINGS - 328 KM We will now head to our main destination Orkhon Valley for 120 km off-road ride. Locals call it the Land of Enchantment for a reason! We will enjoy the scenic canyon of Orkhon waterfall. Keep in mind, today is the most technical riding of the trip, but also the most magnificent views! The spectacular canyon of Orkhon Valley was formed after an earthquake and a volcanic eruption more than 20,000 years ago, forming a cascade of 20 meters high. The site has amazingly contrasted view of white foam and black rock that forms the canyon walls. Our ride continues for 208 km to Tsenher Hot Springs, a much-needed relaxation after a long ride. We will camp here today. Soak in the therapeutic hot springs and absorb the healing benefits of the minerals. |
DAY 5 | UGII LAKE - 190 KM Brace yourself for more challenging ride today, there will be some loose gravel that will require a bit of concentration. We’re now heading to Ugii Lake for 190 km ride. Along the way, we will stop by an ancient Gokturks Empire Museum and have a quick coffee break. We will arrive Ugii Lake in the afternoon. Ugii Lake is a freshwater lake, it has an abundant birdlife of more than 150 bird species, which creates an incredible natural beauty. You can relax and enjoy the rest of the day by the lake and even ride a jet ski. |
DAY 6 | LUN SAND DUNES - 183 KM Our ride continues to Lun sand dunes for 183 km. We’ll leave the dirt trails behind and hop onto some paved roads leading us to a historical site of Khitan empire ancient stone castle ruin. In the late afternoon, we will arrive at Lun. You will have a chance to ride on the sand dunes and test your skills with your Yamaha Tenere 700 and enjoy the colorful sunset. Keep an eye out for elks, there are thousands of elks in the area, you can capture their photos if you’re lucky. This is our last camping site. |
DAY 7 | ULAANBAATAR - 209 KM Our last day of ride, we will ride 51 km through some sandy and dirt road heading to Hustai National Park, one of the most stunning national parks in Mongolia, the home of the Przewalski wild horse and other wildlife such as elk, gazelle, and birds. After exploring around the beautiful landscapes, we will head back to Ulaanbaatar city for 158 km ride. We’ll cover half on some gravel roads, then finish off with paved road. It’s hard to believe, but the journey ends here. You’ve traversed the length of Mongolia on your motorcycle, braved the trails and the steppes, and reached the Orkhon Valley: an adventure of a lifetime indeed! We welcome all our riders for a city tour in the evening. We can also arrange a shopping trip upon request. There will be a celebratory farewell dinner party. |
